This site consist of various pyramids, courts and temples, and is particularly noted for the largest grouping of Mayan stelae found today. The 21 stelae are believed to be the most complex and intricate carvings ever discovered of this ancient civilisation. Under each stele lays a vault, and some of these have been excavated. There is sufficient time to wander through the complex after your guided tour.
