PARAGUAY
|
| Paraguay is a country
forgotten by time and still undiscovered by most modern travellers.
The charming, friendly and innate generosity of the down to earth
inhabitants of Paraguay will bring an understanding of the South
American way of life. At one end of the country the Iguassu Falls
still roar through the jungle as they have done for thousands of
years, whereas in Asuncion, the Victorian Trolley cars still glide
over the street, as they have been doing for as long as anyone can
remember. Billing itself as the land of peace and sunshine, it is
one of South America's two landlocked countries. Paraguay has an
intriguing history and a wide diversity of areas, from uninhabited
Chaco wilderness through to the fertile rolling plains in the south. |
